Obituary of Odessa Verna Johns
Johns, Odessa Verna passed away November 19, 2020 in the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home. Born on August 31, 1925 she was a daughter of the late Charles and Carrie (Marshall) Taylor. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, quilting and spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed her time with the ladies at Victoria Beach sewing circle. Mom had willing hands and a loving heart and was always there to help anyone with a need. She is survived by daughters: Barbara Munroe of Cranbrook, BC, Verna Foley (Richard) of Victoria Beach, Mary Ann Doucette (Jules) Wedgeport; Earl of Bridgetown, Richard (Shari) of Granville Beach, Barry (Beatrice) of Port Wade, Kevin (Jackie) of Port Wade, 19 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Clark, two infant daughters and a brother Vincent Taylor .No visitation by request. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday November 24, 2020 from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal with Rev. Deann Carter officiating assisted by Rev. Mitchell Foley. Burial will be in the Garden of Peace Cemetery, Victoria Beach. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Victoria Beach Cemetery or Victoria Beach ladies auxiliary.
