Passed peacefully at Bridgepoint Hospital on Saturday, March 7, 2020 in his 87th year, after living a full and active life. Loved and missed by family: children Karen (Brian), Sandra (David) and Steven (Coreen) and their mother Sylvia; brother George; step-children Andrea (Gary) and Lee (Kelly); and grandchildren Vincent, Andrew, Andrew, William, Aaron, Bailey, Lauren and Paige. Predeceased by his wife Kathy (nee Pollard), and parents Matthew and Kathleen (nee Hassard) Pennell of Northern Ireland. Fondly remembered by cousins and relatives in Canada, the U.S.A. and Northern Ireland, and the residents of Hazelton Place Retirement Residence. Funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 20th at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue, Toronto (1-800-616-3311).
