Obituary
With family by his side Norman Walter (Wardhaugh) Napier, passed away peacefully on November 18 at Extendicare. Norman is now with his beloved grandmother Anna Wilkins, father Harvey Napier, siblings Ann, Billy, Ken (Wanda) Napier, Barry Hepburn (brother-in-law) and Marguerite Martyn (sister). Norman is survived by his mother Dorothy Napier and siblings Harvey Napier (Carol), Danna Teal (Larry), David Napier (Rowena), Irene Hepburn (Gord Young), Beverly Lyman (Joel), George Martyn (brother-in-law), Verna Simpson (Greg) and Valerie Hackett (Brian). Norman will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Norman worked at Kingston Spinners until it closed and then took a position of custodian with the Downtown Business Association. Norman loved both of his jobs and loved to talk to people downtown always with a smile and laugh, Norman was the chess champion in Kingston for years and played chess with people around the world. Norman was also a history buff and loved to talk history with anyone that would listen. There will be a private family celebration with siblings and his mother only due to restriction issues now. Donations to Kingston Humane Society in Normans memory will be appreciated in remembrance of Normans dog “Mickey”.
