Obituary for Norma Wrightman
Norma Jean Wrightman, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the age of 71. Norma is the daughter of the late David & Lola Marie (Moreland) McCready. Beloved wife of Delmer Wrightman. Loving mother of Jennifer Truong (Dan), Deanna Paradis, Michael Paradis and Jerrilee Lalonde. Dear grandmother of Danielle, Jenna, Jared, Jesse, Hayden and Gabriella and great grandmother of Kyler, Kai, Arionna, Levi and Brynlee. Sister of Brenda Sterling (Gary), David McCready (Doris), Richard McCready (Karen) and the late Carol Lampkin (James). Norma had worked as a counselor at the Walpole Island Women’s Shelter and had worked for H & B, Accurcast and Eaton-Yale. A private family celebration for Norma’s family and close friends will be held at First Baptist Church, 100 Napier Street in Wallaceburg at 11:30 AM on Saturday, February 1, with visiting in the half hour prior. A luncheon will follow at the church. HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg entrusted with arrangements.
