Obituary
McKinlay, Norma – Norma Sharron (nee Wynne) McKinlay, age 75 of Sarnia, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2020. Loving mother to Bill (Rob) McKinlay, grandmother to Rob Kinear and also survived by cousins Bruce, Jim and Sandy. Preceded in death by her parents William (Bill) and Marjorie and loving daughter Cheryl. Norma was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia to William and Marjorie Wynne on December 8, 1944. After completing their wartime service, her family moved to Montreal, Quebec and later to Sarnia, Ontario. She was married to Donald McKinlay of Sarnia, Ontario and had 2 children, Bill and Cheryl. Norma was a retail manager in Sarnia for many years. Later, an active member of the Lion’s Club. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia, ON, N7T 5W9.
