Norma A. Trewin
1926-2020
The death of Norma Agnes Trewin occurred on March 23, 2020 at the
Carleton Manor in Woodstock, NB. Born February 17, 1926 in Plaster
Rock, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Julia (McLellan)
Priest. She was predeceased by two husbands, Harry Kierstead and Henry
Trewin, 5 children, Gertrude (Clayton Edgar), Harry Jr Kierstead
(Evelyn), Evelyn Keirstead, Eugene Keirstead , Clair Kierstead
(Barbara) and Karen Kierstead; 2 grandsons, Leigh Edgar and Daniel
Kierstead; 1 great granddaughter, Katherine Kierstead; 1 son in law,
John Anderson; 7 sisters, Emma (Tom Wilson), Leona (Frank Morehouse),
Margaret (Howard Phillips), Bessie (Joe Ryan), Ferne (Jerry Elkins),
Darlene (Fred Cottrell), Geraldine “Deannie” (Dan Leeming);
2 brothers, Raymond Priest (Laura) and Watson Priest (Maria).
Norma is survived by her 3 children, Watson Kierstead (Shelley),
Raymond Kierstead (Barbara) and Patricia Anderson; 12 grandchildren,
Durena Feher (Bill), Teresa Boucher (Bentley), Gregory Kierstead,
Melissa Richardson (Mark), Lee Ann Ritchie (Kyle), Kristopher
Kierstead (Erin), Keith Anderson (Bonnie), Robert Anderson (Angel),
Anthony Kierstead, Kerry Kierstead and Jeremiah Kierstead; many great
grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Norma was the last
surviving member of her immediate family.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The interment will be
in Williamstown Cemetery at a later date. Donations made to the NB
Heart and Stroke foundation or the Williamstown Cemetery would be
