Death Notice
CORNER, Norah Anne – July 24, 1940 – October 5, 2020. Norah passed away peacefully, in her sleep at home, Monday, October 5, 2020.
Norah is survived by the love of her life, Fred, her husband of twenty-eight years. Also, survived by her daughter Melody (Demers) Robertson and husband Bruce. Stepchildren John and Claire, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren all of England. Her three nieces Rhonda, Serena and Andrea and brother-in-law John.
She was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Emily Moore and sister Theresa Herbert.
She will be dearly missed by her friends Judi, Joy, Joan, all at the art classes and too many more to mention.
Norah had a good career as a nurse and medical secretary. Always a generous soul who wanted to help people, she treasured her later years working in her shop “About You” helping women. She loved the arts, her garden, traveling with her husband and a good laugh. And she loved to sing. She adored her pets Daisy and Kitty “Cash” who miss her.
Thank you to all the people who sent sympathy cards or called with condolences. Your thoughtfulness and support is greatly appreciated.
Arrangements were entrusted to Harris Funeral Home. An intimate service was held at home for the blessing of the ashes. Per Norah’s wishes, her ashes will be kept on the mantel at home so she can keep an eye on her husband.
