Obituary
Noel is the son of the late Sarah and Gabriel Chief (Chippaynnowwhas). He was born at Loon Lake, SK on December 21, 1955 and he resided most of his life on the Ministikwan reserve. Noel was known in his younger years for his love of Chariot racing. He was a hard worker and hauled water for the reserve for years. Noel loved the outdoors and he was always on the go visiting friends and family even when he wasn’t doing his best. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is predeceased by: his parents, Sarah and Gabriel Chief; his two brothers, Lloyd and Tommy Chief; his four infant brothers, Henry, David, Walter and Leonard; his four sisters, Justine Brownhat, Agnes Chief, Alma Chief and one infant sister.
Noel is survived by: his brother, Dale Allan Chief; his brothers children whom he took in as his own, Melissa Cardinal (Dwayne Chief), Sheila Cardinal, Gabriel Cardinal, Gina Cardinal, Debra Cardinal, Angela Chief (Gerald Waterhen), Thomas Chief (Angel Jackson); his great grandchild, Karis Chief; and numerous grandchildren, nieces , nephews and relatives.
