Obituary of NELLIE MAE CAUGHILL
CAUGHILL, Nellie – peacefully at the John Noble Home, Brantford on Monday, August 10, 2020 formerly of Wilsonville at the age of 87. Wife of the late Leslie Caughill. Loving mother of Larry Caughill, Lorraine (Fred) Giles, Carol (Joseph) Coggins and David (Adrianne) Caughill. Cherished grandmother of Kelly (Steve), Jeff (Jenn), Amy (Kelly), Leanne and Devin (Chang), Mitchell (and Sarah), Lukas, Devin (and Lacie) and great grandchildren Lexis Kailey, Silas, Mildred and Blair. Dear sister of Russell (Linda) Nelson. Predeceased by her sister Ruth Ann Buttenham and seven brothers: Clarence, Everett, Edward, James, Reg, Howard and Bill Nelson. Nellie will also be missed by sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Friends may be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford on Saturday August 15, 2020 from 11am-1pm. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:30pm at Waterford Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Karen Willis officiating. As expressions of sympathy donations in memory of Nellie may be made to Alzheimer’s Society. Following funeral guidelines for Covid-19 masks are required in the funeral home. If you wish to attend the visitation, we ask that you contact the funeral home at 519-443-5332 to book your time to attend.

    I had the privilege of representing your Mom in the sale of the family home. She was always so positive and caring. She shared memories about rural life with me and it was such a genuine pleasure to learn about her life and her family. “Family” was so very important to Nellie. She was
