Peacefully at the Colville Manor in Souris on Monday, October 5, 2020, Neil MacIsaac passed away with his dear sisters by his side. He was aged 83 years and formerly of Rock Barra, PE.
Born in Rock Barra to Neil Francis and Margaret (MacDonald) MacIsaac, Neil was the sixth of twelve children and remained a bachelor his whole life. As a full-time fisherman, he loved the sea and all its adventures. Beloved brother of Catherine Gillis (Charlie), Margaret MacPhee, Mary, Frances, Peter and Lorne MacIsaac. He survived by brother-in-law Bernard Yetman and sisters-in-law Theresa, Doris Earl and Doris Kenneth MacIsaac. He will be fondly remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Rudy, John, Earl and Kenneth MacIsaac, sister Sarah Yetman and brother-in-law Russell MacPhee.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home where visiting hours will take place for immediate family only. A funeral mass will be held at the St. Columba Roman Catholic Church, Fairfield for invited guests only. Interment will take place in the church cemetery following the funeral mass. If so desired, donations can be made to the St. Columba Cemetery Fund.
