Nathaniel’s Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one, Nathaniel Jesse King age 82 years of Badger’s Quay, who passed away at home on Monday, November 16, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents; Gaston and Drucilla (Boland), brothers; Jack (Florence), Eli (Myrtle), Junior, father-in-law; Samuel Sturge (Mona/Mereda), brother-in-law; Cyril Sturge and sisters-in-law; Maisie and Louise O’Toole (Sturge).
Leaving to mourn with fond, loving and beautiful memories are his wife of 55 years; Breta (Sturge), children; Mona (Dwayne Welcher), Wanda (Darrin), Gerry (Tammy), Nathalie (Junior Collins), 10 grandchildren; Jackie, Kayla, Gina-Rae, Sarah, Chelsea, Carly, Nathaniel, Abbie, Brittany, Dyllan, 13 great grandchildren, brother; Sam (Clemmie), sister; Betty (John Hiscock), sister-in-law; Nellie King, brothers-in-law; Heber (Marcie), Harold (Lillian), Charlie O’Toole, sister-in-law; Clara (Dave Brown) and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.
Due to COVID restrictions and recommendations, visitation and funeral will be by invitation only.
Visitation by invitation will be held at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Thursday, November 19, 2020 from 11 A.M – 3 P.M. Funeral service will take place on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove at 11 A.M. with Rev. George Kean officiating.
As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Nathaniel’s memory to The Kidney Foundation or The Janeway Children’s Wish Foundation.
