Obituary
It is with broken hearts that the family of Nathan Roger Joseph Gallant announce his tragic passing which occurred on July 8, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Fredericton on April 2, 1991 he was the son of Roger Gene Gallant and Diana Lynn Hachey.
After graduation from Hampton High School he became a member of the Canadian Armed Forces serving with the 2nd Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery. After his discharge from the Canadian Forces he worked in construction. He loved listening to music, his video games and taking long drives. He enjoyed the gym and his work outs. He was a strong strong boy. He loved his family and friends.
Besides his parents he is survived by his sister Kyla Gene Gallant (Jeffrey Furlotte), his paternal grandmother Sharon Gallant and his maternal grandparents Mary Carter and Leo Hachey, his aunts Lesia Hachey, Susan Hachey, Lisa Gallant Kimberley Stewart and his uncle Christopher Hachey along with his several cousins and his many friends.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Sunday, July 12th , 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Staff will be available at the main entrance of the funeral home to assist guests with social distancing measures when they arrive. Please note that physical distancing restrictions will be observed during the gathering. The funeral service will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 14 th , 2020 with interment at St. Joesph’s Cemetery. The family would appreciate donations be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the charity of the donor’s choice.
