Nanette Elizabeth Keating January 6 2020

Keating, Nanette Elizabeth – 1925-2020. The family of Nanette is saddened to announce her passing on January 6, 2020. She was born in DeBay’s Cove and was a daughter of the late Albert and Emma DeBaie.
Nanette is survived by her sons, Gary (Yvonne), Dennis (Pam), Clark; daughters, Lorraine, Jocelyn (LeRoy), Rachel (David); as well as ten grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Maureen; sister-in-law, Jean. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, George; son, Bruce; brothers, Fred, Douglas, Nelson, Ambrose, Maurice; sisters, Elsie and Mabel.
Mom loved spending time with her family, music, dancing, as well as gardening and playing cards or bingo.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 14 at 11 a.m. in St. Denis Catholic Church, East Ship Harbour. Reception to follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anne’s Cemetery Fund, DeBay’s Cove.
Many thanks go out to the staff of The Berkley Dartmouth for their compassion during Mom’s last couple of months, especially Kelly, who could always get Mom to do a little dance.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
