Obituary
It is with sadness the family of Nancy Pauline Kingston, announces her passing, which occurred with her loving family at her side on Sunday, September 6th, 2020 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born September 25, 1939 in Truro, N.S., she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Edith (Welsh) Davidson.
Over the years Nancy was a valued employee at Red Rose Tea, Red Cross, Atlantic Wholesalers and Kmart. Nancy was very social and loved attending Open Mic Nights, Bingo, playing cards and above all else, she loved people.
She is survived and will be missed by her children Michael “Blaine” (Linda), Troy (Tammy Josey) and Kathy Lynn Kingston, partner Don Brown; Don’s children Terry(Debbie), Bonnie(Billy), Wendy, Kyla(Paul), and Tanya (Eyvon), grandchildren; Krystal (Jeff), Michael (Melissa), Matthew, Michelle, Brandon and Corey, great-grandchildren; Arielle, Carter, Brooklynn, Kevin and Katlyn; her brother Al Davidson; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, Nancy is predeceased by husband Michael Francis Kingston, partner Ross Budgell, brothers Donald, John, George, Bobby and Jimmy, and sisters; Barbara and Gloria.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424). Following cremation, a family held celebration of Nancy’s life will be held Sunday, Sept.13th from 2:00 -4:00 p.m. at 200 Clark Road. East Saint John. Interment to be held at Fernhill Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Bobby’s Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Staff of Bobby’s Hospice, and to Dr. Chris O’Brien, Dr. Naz, Dr. Caissie and Dr. Palmer for their wonderful love and care.
