The family is saddened to announce the passing of Nancy Joyce
Allport (Duchesne) at Hospice House Fredericton on Monday, October 19,
2020. Born on August 17, 1952, Nancy was the daughter of the late
Joyce (Hebb) and George Duchesne.
Nancy will be deeply missed by her husband Richard Allport,
her children Dwayne Turple (Kim), Myles Turple (Amy), Barrie Turple
(Julie), Jennifer MacDonald (Paul), Kimberley Allport (Collin),
Christopher Allport (Michelle); her grandchildren Ben, Megan,
Mackenzie, Makayla, Brooklyn, Alexis, and George Turple, Matthew and
Heather MacDonald, Alyssa, Nathan, Emma and Olivia Allport; her
brothers Larry Duchesne and George Duchesne (Lynn), as well as many
friends and extended family.
A visitation will take place on Friday, October 23, 2020 from
6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Oromocto Funeral Home. A memorial
service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the
Oromocto Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Perry Hanley presiding. Due to
COVID-19 restrictions, there is limited seating. Those who wish to
attend the service are asked to send an RSVP to the funeral home at
