1937-2020
Nancy Elizabeth Bannister, 83 of Havelock passed
away on Friday, July 24, 2020 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Havelock, she was the daughter of the late
Harold and Bernice (Joyce) Plume. Nancy was a graduate of the Havelock
High School in 1955 and she went on to become an RNA working in
Sus. She was a member of the Havelock Baptist Church, a
Sunday School teacher and a member and past president of the Havelock
W.I.
Nancy is survived and sadly missed by her sons
Terry ( Anne Harvey), Tim Bannister and Trevor Bannister, all of
Havelock; brothers Girvan Plume (Carol) of Petitcodiac, Paul Plume
(Lucille Cormier) of Cap Pelé, Bernard Plume (Brenda) of
Petitcodiac and David Plume (Nancy) of Salisbury; sisters Madeline
Prosser of Salisbury and Sandra Steele (David) of Petitcodiac; eight
grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and
nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Weldon (2017) and
infant daughter Susan Marie.
Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral
Home (372-4800). There is no visitation by Nancy’s request.
There will be a graveside service at Greenhill Cemetery on Tuesday,
July 28 at 1 pm with Rev. Dean MacDonald officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Havelock
Baptist Church Building Fund, the Parkinson Foundation or the Havelock
W.I. would be appreciated by the family.
