1923-2020
Myrtle Audrey Yerxa, 96, of Meductic NB passed
away on Monday, April 13, 2020 at the Carleton Manor Nursing Home
Woodstock NB. Myrtle was born in Johnson Settlement NB on July 26,
1923 daughter of the late Elijah and Hannah
Johnson.
Myrtle is survived by her daughter, Lois Yerxa,
sons, Frank Yerxa (Nancy), Charles Yerxa (Shirley), Chris Yerxa
(Joanne), son in law, Tom Jones, several grandchildren, great
grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Myrtle was the last surviving member of her
immediate family of fourteen.
Besides her parents, Myrtle was predeceased by
her husband, Reginald, daughters, Dorothy, Edith, sons, Lewis,
Allison, grandson, Reggie Yerxa and thirteen
siblings.
By request there will be no visitation. A
celebration of Myrtles life’ will be held at later with date and time
announced. Interment will be held in the Hay Settlement Cemetery at a
later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made
to the Meductic Baptist Church or to the Woodstock Food
Bank.
