Obituary of Myra Joyce Noseworthy
Myra Joyce Noseworthy (neé Brace), passed away on Monday, 13 Apr, 2020, in their home, in Eastern Passage, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Predeceased by parents John and Nellie Brace and sister Elizibeth.
Myra was born and raised in St. John’s, NL. She was a devoted wife to Warren, Eastern Passage, and mother to Adam and Andrew as well as a proud grandmother to twins Ayla and Aralee, all of Greenwood. Leaving to mourn in addition to her husband, sons and grandchildren; brothers: Nelson (Marion), Chilliack, BC; Allan (Cathy), Greewood,; Randy (Joan), Wassis, NB; Rod, St John’s, NL; sister Dorothy (Peter), St. John’s, NL; brother-in-law Paul, New Market, ON; sister-in-law Valerie (Sam), St John’s, NL; as well as many nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends.
During her illness Myra was extremely happy to have many family members visiting her from Newfoundland and as far away as London, England. Besides her family, Myra enjoyed the friendships she made working at Ocean View Manor in Eastern Passage for 20+ years. These visits from friends and past colleagues brought her great joy in her final months.
Interment of ashes will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, St. John’s NL at a future date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
