HYNES – Murray Harold, Bsc. (Trent U.) Former Director of Human Resources, City of Peterborough.
Murray (1936-2020) passed away peacefully at home on December 18, 2020. Murray was the beloved husband of Marlene (née O’Neill) for 60 years and father of Dan (Amanda Toohey) Canberra, Australia. Amy (deceased 2020) Fred Lynch, Columbus, Ohio, and Jennifer (Randy Collins) Kennedy Bay, Dunsford. He leaves four grandchildren, Josh and Adam (Dan), Jessica and Daniel (Amy), Lauren Bell (Joe), and Margaret Vanderbyl (Jon). Great-grandfather of Levi and Clinton Bell, Landon Vanderbyl and Avery Hynes (Josh). Murray was predeceased by his parents Harold and Gertrude (née McConnell) Hynes and his sisters, Madelyn McQuarrie (Bob) and Thelma Forde (Ken) and Vitarelli (Lou). Arrangement entrusted to Stoddart Funeral Home, Lindsay. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Condolences may be made online and if desired a donation in remembrance of Murray can be made to a charity of your choice.
