Muriel Thaw 2020

Muriel Thaw, formerly of Hanover, passed away suddenly as the result of a tragic motorcycle accident in Arran Township on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. She was 62.
Muriel was employed with Zettel-Fischer Contracting in Hanover and enjoyed working there as the secretary. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and going for a ride on her bike. There was nothing better than feeling the breeze in her hair as she rode down the highway. She will be remembered by many friends and fellow riders.
Survived by children Travis (Alexandra) Thaw of Port Elgin, Roxanne (Phil) Laurin of Ottawa and Brent (Adrienne) Watson of Calgary . Adored grandmother of Skye and Cole Laurin and Oliver and Isla Watson. Beloved daughter of Gary and Marge (nee Buhrow) Ferrier of Hanover. Loved sister of Jamie-Lynn (John) Zettler of Hanover, Paul (Shelley) Ferrier of Rostock and Jennifer (Dan) Lavis of Ingersoll and their families. Predeceased by her mom Ruby (Kingston).
Family and friends are invited to a Public Memorial Visitation held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 2-4pm. A Private Family Memorial Service will follow.
As per the provincial regulations and COVID-19 restrictions, all visitors are requested to wear a mask when inside the funeral home. The maximum number allowed in the funeral home at any one time is 40 people including immediate family. All social distancing measures will be taken.
