Muriel Roy 2020

Muriel Roy, 87, wife of the late Léandre Roy and formerly of St. Anne St, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst.
Born in Allardville she was the daughter of the late Bedford and Edna (Sargent) Peters.
She is survived by her children:
Robert Roy, Margaret Chiasson (Amedée), Brenda Roy (Julien Hachey), Stephen Roy (Brandi Sylvestre), Donna Roy (Roger Theriault), Marlene Roy (Barry Legacy) and Darlene Roy (Steve Boudreau) all of Bathurst and Sandra Roy (late Walter Coombs Jr.) of Pokeshaw,
Grandchildren: Claude, Lise, Marc, Melanie, Samantha, Rebecca, Eric, Lindsey, Amanda, Haley, Christopher, Sarah, Kevin, Tanya and several great-grandchildren.
Two sisters: Helen Hines (Clifford) of Miramichi Road and Shirley Peters (Tommy Duguay) of Bathurst; two brothers: Elmer (late Jeannie) and Blair (Betty) both of Miramichi Road.
Sister-in-law Yvonne (Daigle) Peters and Florida Peters both of Bathurst and brother-in-law, Grant Smith of Miramichi Road.
Many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers: Sampson, George, Hazen, Leonard and Allison, sisters: Ella Jagoe, Marjorie Peters, Carrie Hines, Mildred Smith and Alma Thibeault.
Donations in memory of Muriel can be made to the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
There will be no visitation at funeral home. A funeral service will be held from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com) by invitation only.
