ROSS, Muriel Jean- Stoney Island, It is with great sadness that the family of Muriel Jean Ross announces her passing, on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at the Nakile Home for Special Care. Born on March 11, 1940 she was a daughter of the late Winslow and Mildred (Devine) King. Muriel enjoyed playing 45’s and spending time gardening. She is survived by her husband, Oliver Ross; children, Terry (Alison) Dixon and Brian (Mary) Dixon; brother, Ricky (Diane) King; grandchildren, Ryan, Geri-Lynn, Derrick, Sherman Jr., Troy, Travis, Denise, Steven, Rachel and Aaron; great-grandchildren, Sam, Gracie, Priya, Jaylyn, Lennox, Genevieve, Clarissa, Jovi and Cruz; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Sherman; siblings, Billy, Burton and Anna. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Barrington. There will be no formal visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
