Herbert Alvin “Ross” Munro, of Durham, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020 in his 71st year, Beloved husband of Wilma Munro (nee McLean). Loving father of Ian Munro and his late wife Jennifer and Todd Munro and his wife Melissa. Cherished grandfather of Warren, Leah, and Darian Munro. Dear brother of Adel and her husband Ivan Schmidt, Bill Munro and his wife Gen, and Wayne Munro and his wife Sandra and brother-in-law of Lois Munro, Wayne McLean and his wife Carol, Norma and her husband Allan Newman, Donna McLean, Lynne Newby and her friend Tom Newman, Robert McLean and his wife Donna. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and his many friends. Predeceased by his brother Alan Munro, and brother-in-law Dennis Newby.
Celebration of Life::
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at the Hanover Cemetery on Tuesday, July 28th at 11 a.m. Due to Covid-19 protocols, social distancing must be respected on the cemetery property and a limited number of people will be able to attend the service. If you wish to attend the service, please call the Funeral Home at 519-369-3837.
