Obituary of Morris Abram Chown
It is with heavy hearts the family would like to announce the passing of Morris Chown, 82, of Roachville, which occurred on December 10, 2020 at the Sus Health Center. Born on June 17, 1938, in Keirstead Mountain, he was a son to the late Myles and Mable (Parlee) Chown.
Morris is survived by his loving wife, Helen (Walls) Chown of Roachville; his son, Kenneth (Tammy) Chown of Roachville; his daughter Pam Masten of Roachville; his brothers: Murton Chown of Berwick, James (Edna) Chown of Sus, Leonard (Diane) Chown of Ontario and Bev (Rosemary) Chown of Jemseg; his sister, Sheila (John) Warren of Gibbon Mountain; grandchildren: Rebekah Masten, Rachel Masten, Jared Chown and Keri Rothenberg; his great grandchildren: Autumn Guillemette, Ezekiel McLaughlin and Flynn Rothenberg.
Besides his parents, Morris was predeceased by his brothers, Myles Chown and Gary Chown; as well as his sister Jeanette Chown.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, NB (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Wallace Community Chapel at 1:00pm with Rev. Tim MacDonald presiding. Due to Covid-19 seats are limited, we ask that you call and reserve your seat. Following the service an interment will take place in the Keirstead Mountain Cemetery.
