Mrs. Mollie Stacey, formerly of Oxbow, passed away at the Moose Mountain Lodge, Carlyle, SK. on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the age of 88.
Mollie is survived by five children: Janet (Bill) Cannon of Yorkton, SK, Clive (Pattie) Stacey of Haywood, MB, Peter (Liz) Stacey of Bury St. Edmonds, U.K., Nicholas Stacey of Portage la Prairie, MB, and Philip (Angela) Stacey of Victoria, BC; seven grandchildren: Liam Cannon, Jessica (Chris) Smith, Charlene Stacey, Ian Stacey, Danielle Stacey, Molly Stacey, Ewen Stacey; several nieces and nephews in England.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ethel and Benjamin Baskerville; husband, Derek (1989); one brother, Frank; two brothers-in-law, Arther and Alf; five sisters-in-law, Jean, Frances, Muriel, Elsie, and Mirrie.
A public memorial service was held at St. Paul’s United Church, Oxbow on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jackie van’t Voort officiating. The interment will take place at the Woodlands Cemetery, Treherne, Manitoba.
