Kumagai, Mitsue (Mitzi)
Passed peacefully on March 20, 2020 at the age of 97 at her home in Acton, Ontario.
Beloved mother of Howie, and grandmother to Daniel (Tomoko), Leslie (Kyle), Step-aunt to Joan and Auntie to Ryan and Larry. Predeceased by her husband Jimmie, son Sheldon, sister Ayako (Aya) and brothers Setsu (Sid) & Reiji (Rai). She will be missed and remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends from the Roselm Road community, the Scarborough Firefighters Drum and Bugle Corps and lives that she touched as a seamstress/tailor in Scarborough.
The family would like to thank her long time Personal Service Worker Malita Winston-Bowers, her medical care providers from LHIN Mississauga/Halton & Acclaim Health and her new Service Providers at Care Partners and Comfort Keepers.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Charity of your choice.
Due to the current COVID-19 crisis no visitation is schedule and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details will follow on social media once they have been organized.
