Mireille Anderson
1946-2020
Mireille Marie Anderson, 73 of Anagance passed
away June 23, 2020 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Saint Edgar, she was the daughter of the
late Adorice and Blanche (LeBlanc) Bourdages. Mom made the
best French toast – always making sure breakfast was eaten! She loved
to play – sliding, building snowmen, biking and playing in the pool
with her grandchildren. She loved being outdoors; she worshiped the
sun. She loved taking care of her flower gardens, always getting
excited to see a new bloom. Her favourite flowers were lilacs. She
would help anyone, take them in and feeding them. No one went hungry
at Mom’s. She loved her pets, but her passion was country music and
she was happiest singing and playing her guitar.
She is survived by her husband Derrell; daughters
Christine Himmelman (Kevin) of Kentville, NS and Lynn McPhee
(Christopher) of Corn Hill; grandchildren Lacey Diotte (Brad) of
Sus and Cody McPhee of Sus; great grandchildren Luke and Kori
Diotte; and many nieces and nephews. Mom came from a large family of
nine siblings including sisters Marge Richard (France) and Nicole
Richard and was predeceased by brothers Eve, Guy, Marcel, Aurel,
Claude and Roger and sister Huguette and also by her parents and
father and mother-in-law Theodore and Flossie Anderson. Mom went to
meet God and to reunite with her heavenly family.
Due to restrictions at this time there will be a
Memorial gathering at a later date. Arrangements are in the
care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106
(372-4800).
If desired, donations to a charity of choice would
be appreciated by the family.
