Obituary
Morse, Millicent (nee Gathercole), passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Southampton, on Thursday October 8, 2020 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Henry Boland Morse. Loving mother to her son Michael, Susan and her husband Mark Zemlanko, Jill and her husband Marc MacDonald, all of Southampton.
Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Justin, Caleb, Sheldon, David and Daniel and by her great grandchildren, Avia, Hendrik, Jonah, and Larsen. Survived by her nieces & nephews, especially, Carol & Paul, by her sister-in-law Ruth Gathercole.
Predeceased by her parents Alfred & Olive, by her brothers Bill and John, and by her sister Peggy.
Millicent and her family immigrated in 1967 from England. She made her home in Southampton and worked for a time as a local real estate agent. She was an active member of the Port Elgin Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnessess right up until the time of her death. She will always be remembered for her kind, gentle and generous nature.
Cremation. Friends are invited to join with the family, on Saturday October 24, 2020, at 1:30pm for a video presentation followed by a Zoom Memorial Service.
