Mildred Collette
1935-2020
Mildred Collette, 84, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at the
Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, on Wednesday July
22, 2020. She was married to the late Georges Collette (1988). Born
in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elodia
(Saulnier) Melanson.
She will be sadly missed by her four daughters; Jeannette Boudreau
(Yvon), Murielle Collette (Bernard Maillet), Angela LeBlanc (Jacques)
and Réjeanne Léger (Aubrey) all of Bouctouche, her five
grandchildren; Nathalie, Melissa, Martin, Denis and Christien as well
as her seven great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn one sister
Viola Cormier (Donald) of Bouctouche and a special friend Henri Allain
of Bouctouche as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her adoptive parents; Clément and
Mélina Saulnier, one daughter; Murielle Laudia (1956), one son;
Jean-Noel (1957), six sisters; Rita, Judith, Emma, Doris, Anita,
Marguerite and six brothers; Aldéric, Adelard, Eddie, Joseph,
Acquila and Emerie.
A private Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman
Catholic Church, Bouctouche at a later date. Interment will be in the
parish cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
