It is with heavy hearts that the Evans family announce the peaceful passing of their mother, grandmother & great grandmother, Mildred Bernice Evans (nee Howard) at the age of 93 years, on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the Souris Health Centre.
Bernice leaves to mourn her passing her six children Margaret (George) Baldwin of Victoria, BC, Marion Smart of Edmonton, AB, Bruce (Sharon L.) Evans of Hartney, MB, Shirley (Dennis) LaRoque of Holland, MB, Bill (Joyce) Evans of Airdrie, AB, and Bob (Patti) Evans of Summerland, BC; sixteen grandchildren Wayne (Gina) Solomon, Susan (Marc) Morin, Jeff (Lynn) Smart, Darren (Rachel) Smart, Terry (Rebecca) Smart, Lara (Mike) Pal, Darwin (Sharon E.) Evans, Keith Evans, Trisha (Ken) Evans, Kim (Fernando) Magalhaes, Rick LaRoque, Reikie ( Jeff) Evans, Shaun (Paige) Evans, Robert (Kari) Evans , Kyle (Stephanie) Evans and Jared (Cassandra) Evans, 22 great grandchildren, as well numerous extended relatives & friends.
Bernice was predeceased by her husband Ashley in 2011, parents Bill & Emma Howard, son-in-law Harry Smart, granddaughter Trina Solomon, brother and sister in law Irwin and Helen Howard, brother and sister in law Mervin and Betty Evans, brother and sister in law Harold and Polly Evans.
A Family Graveside Service will be held at the Brookdale Cemetery, Holland, MB, on Friday, September 11, 2020 with Rev. Jonathan Hoskin officiating.
The service will also be available online at www.willmorchapel.com, later in the day.
