Obituary of Mike Woodard
It is with broken hearts the family of Michael Lee Woodard of Rothesay, husband of Tammy (Graves) Woodard, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 5, 2020, surrounded by his family at home.
Born on August 2, 1958 in St. Stephen, he was a son of the late Arnold and Joan (Whiting) Woodard. Mike was employed as a Safety Officer for many years, working at several company including; Potash Mine in Sus, Strescon, AECL, and last of all with NB Power. He was well known, always willing to help anyone and respected by many for his work. He was a “Jack of all Trades”, willing to try anything. He enjoyed four wheeling, and having BBQ with his family. His family meant everything to him. Mike will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Tammy, his daughters; Amanda Lingley (Byron), Melissa Woodard (Curtis), and Ashley Cormier (Dan Clark) all of Quispamsis, granddaughters; Brandi and Chloe, and nephew David Arsenault (Nina).
Besides his parents, Mike was predeceased by his daughter Cheryl Woodard.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) on Wednesday, December 9, and Thursday, December 10, from 2-8PM. Funeral Home staff will be available at the entrance to assist with Covid-19 protocol. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private celebration of Mike’s life will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 1:00PM from Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel. For those who are unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed on Mike’s obituary at: www.kennebecasisfh.com For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
