Mike Sworin
1927-2020
Mr. Mike Sworin of Grassland, Alberta, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Lena Sworin, passed away peacefully at the Boyle Healthcare Centre on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at the age of 92 years.
Mike is survived by his daughter Geraldine Joan Snyder, grandson Mikael Snyder, sister Olga Semashkewich, and sister-in-law Olga Sworin.
Mike was predeceased by his beloved wife Lena Sworin, parents; Julia and Peter Sworin, brother Bill Sworin, sister Julia Pretula, brothers-in-law; John Pretula and Stanley Semaskewich.
Due to the recent Government restrictions on the number of people allowed to gather, the family will be holding a private service with a live online streaming platform available for those who wish to join in the funeral service for Mike Sworin. Streaming and viewing instructions will be posted shortly.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2020.

Dear Family of Mike,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Mike. We are sorry that you sorrow at this moment but Mike is now in the bosom of the Lord’s presence. His joy surpasses all understanding. We sorrow with you. Mike was a good man. He was amiable, friendly and had a good sense of humour. He was always confident and always hopeful. It was good to have a conversation with him when we met. “May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; May the Lord turn His face towards you and give you peace” Numbers 6:24-26
