Obituary
It is with deep sadness the family announce the passing of “Mickey” John Alvin Morrison, loving husband of the late Constance “Connie” (Belmont) Morrison, who passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit on Tuesday July 7, 2020. Born in Conway, PEI, on August 15, 1929, he was the son of the late Thomas Yves and Mae Autumn (MacKinnon) Morrison.
Mickey was a machinist by trade and was a real craftsman. He worked with Saint John Ship Building Ltd. before beginning his teaching career at the NBCCSJ campus. Mickey took great pride in the success of his students in their chosen trades. He was a generous man doing anything he could for others and would never say no to anyone. He enjoyed his computer, fishing and bowling. His beloved wife and family were the dearest to his heart.
He will be sadly missed by his sons, Wayne of Truro, NS and Michael (Joanna) of Quispamsis; daughter Kelly Douglas of Saint John; precious grandchildren Brittany, Brandon, Liam, Jack and Matthew; great-granddaughter Savannah; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Along with his wife Connie, of 58 years, he was predeceased by baby daughter Susan Star Morrison, his brothers Ross and Bill Morrison and sister Bertha Lynch.
