Obituary of Michael Lee Thiebaux
THIEBAUX, Michael Lee- age 56 of Indian Brook, passed away September 9, 2020 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Nappa Valley, California, he was a son of Martial Thiebaux, Nine Mile River and the late Jean (Tibbits) Thiebaux.
Michael was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a very social person, armed with a great sense of humor. He coached minor hockey, baseball and women’s hockey and was a passionate Chicago Blackhawks fan. He was a hard worker and would sacrifice himself to his family.
Beside his father, he will be sadly missed by his wife of 36 years, Deborah; children, Jesse Googoo, Evan Julian, Michael Thiebaux; daughters, Naomi McDonald, Keionah Julian and Jada Julian all of Indian Brook; grandchildren, Gage Paul, Harmony Paul, Michael Thiebaux-Robinson III, all of Indian Brook; A’leah Young, Eskasoni, Martial Thiebaux, Matthew Thiebaux, Baby Sek Bernard, Ursula Thiebaux, Aniah Julian, Aliana Julian, all of Indian Brook; godchildren, Stacey Julian and Trent Julian-Googoo; mother- figure, Rochelle Mailhat, Michigan (who made his life a little easier); brothers, Aaron Thiebaux and Marcus Thiebaux,; sisters, Raanana and Tamara; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousin
Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his daughter, Ursula Thiebaux; grandson, Elijah Julian and granddaughter, Alainy Paul.
Visitation will begin 7pm Friday, September 11th at 18 Meadowbrook Rd., Indian Brook until time of service at the home at 11am Monday, September 14th. Burial will follow in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Indian Brook.
