Michael Ritchie Cole
December 24, 1947 – October 29, 2020

With sadness, we announce that Michael Cole passed away peacefully in hospital on October 29, 2020 with family at his side. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 36 years, Karen. Michael was the proud father of Jacqueline and beloved brother of Peter (Debbie). Michael was a cherished brother-in-law to Linda (Kevin) and Colleen, and loving uncle to their children and grandchildren. He was a loyal and dedicated friend to many, and a beloved (though reluctant) guardian of grandcat Abigail. Predeceased by his parents, Ted and Betty.
Michael loved sharing a drink with friends, day trips with his wife, sunny Saturdays at Jays games, and eating his favourite meals at Italian restaurants. His sense of humour and quick wit were famous among all who knew him. Michael enjoyed friendly political debates with family, especially when he won. He was the reigning champion at family Scattergories and his record will not be beat. Michael was unfailingly selfless, kind, and always first to lend a hand to a friend in need.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and all those who provided support to Michael in recent months. Due to these challenging times, the family will hold a private service at some point in the future. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Michael Ritchie Cole December 24 1947 October 29 2020..
