Passed away at the Tiger Hills Personal Care Home on Friday January 17, 2020 at the age of 79 years, Melvin John Watson, of Treherne MB.
Mel leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Margaret Moore (nee Harrison), son Troy Watson (Darlene) of Morden MB, daughter Sherry Meloshinsky (Jeff) of Abbottsford B.C., stepchildren Dianne Goertzen of Winnipeg, Pat (Ken) Lawrence of Treherne MB, Lois Cowan of Edmonton AB, numerous grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren & great step grandchildren, sisters-in-law Doreen Watson of Okotoks AB and Sharon Watson of Winnipeg as well as numerous extended relatives & friends.
Mel was predeceased by his parents Martin & Alice Watson, brothers Richard, Clayton, Douglas and Bryan and by infant sister Gaylia.
A Celebration of Mel’s life will be held on Wednesday January 22, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Treherne United Church with Heather Grobb officiating. A family interment will take place in the Bethel Cemetery.
Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Mel’s memory to the Treherne United Church Memorial Fund, Box 429, Treherne MB R0G 2V0 or to a charity of choice.
