Maxwell (Max)’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maxwell (Max) Curtis announce his passing on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at the Western Long Term Care Facility in his 100th year. A dear husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather. Leaving to mourn his beloved wife Georgina (Wells) of 76 years of marriage; his son Derrick (Louise), his daughter Brenda Decker, his son Vaden (Joan), his son Carlos (Debbie). 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Also, a very large circle of family and friends. Max is predeceased by his parents: Abner & Bridgete. His brothers: Frank, William, Steven, Arthur, and son in law Terry Decker. His parents in law: James & Alice Wells. His brothers in law: Rob, Benny, Steve, William, and sisters in law: Isabelle, Bertha, Jessie, Alice, Erica, Sarah Elizabeth, and Jane. There will be a private family viewing and funeral service to take place at the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Canning officiating. Interment to follow at the Emmanuel Pentecostal Cemetery in Cox’s Cove. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, memorial donations may be made to the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church Fund.
