Obituary for
Maurice Cloutier
Passed away peacefully in his beloved wife’s arms on Thursday October 29, 2020 at the Timmins and District Hospital Hospice at the age of 78.
Loving husband of Lisette Cloutier (née Gravel). Dearest father of Ginette Forster (Dave) and Gilles Cloutier (Deborah Lapointe). Cherished Pepère of Melina, Mathieu, Mackenzie and Spencer.
Dear brother of Yvette, Roger, Lucien, Donald, Ernest, Ludger, Jean-Guy, Lucie, Marc, André and Denis.
Dear brother-in-law of Laurier, Georgette, Madeleine and Roger of the Gravel family.
Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Rolande Cloutier, his brother Raymond, his sister Lorraine, his sisters-in-law Thérèse and Jacqueline, and his brothers-in-law Urgel, Henri, Gerry and Charles.
Maurice worked at Bupont Motors/Timmins Nissan for over 40 years, where he was very well liked and respected. He was instrumental in the Timmins Minor Hockey Association. He coached many young men for decades. He was also very passionate playing cards. Due to COVID-19, a private family gathering will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
