Maurice Joseph Boudreau 19422020

Maurice Joseph Boudreau
1942-2020
Maurice Boudreau, 77, of
Moncton, passed away peacefully, with his wife by his side, at ProTem
Health Services on Monday, February 3,
2020.
Born in Lewisville, he was the
son of the late Alphonse and Euphemie (Leger)
Boudreau.
Maurice’s career was
with the CNR. Upon retirement, he was a Manager of the Prevention and
Claims Department in Moncton. He was a former volunteer with the
Moncton Fire Department, as well as a Scout Leader for St.
Augustine’s. Maurice had a great sense of humour and had an
infectious laugh. He loved to socialize and always looked forward to
his daily outings with his friends at Tim’s. He brought joy
to many and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in
need. Music was his passion. He sang and played several different
musical instruments. Playing music for seniors is what he loved doing
the most.
Maurice will be dearly missed
by his wife, Rita and his sons, Justin (Candace) of Calgary, Michel
(Valerie) of Havelock and Jean Maurice (Patricia) of
Saint-Louis-de-Kent; grandchildren, Julien and Amelia; brothers, Paul
(Joyce), Armand (Anna), Edward (May), Gerald (Annette), Jean Pierre
and brother-in-law, Ivan Arsenault; sisters, Loretta Collette (Emile)
and Diana Boudreau, all of Moncton, as well as several nieces, nephews
and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he
was predeceased by his daughter, Danielle and sister, Claudette
Arsenault.
In keeping with
Maurice’s wishes, cremation has taken place. By request,
there will be no services. A family gathering will take place at a
later date to celebrate his life and share
memories.
Many thanks to Dr. Christine
Telfer, his family physician for many years, for her care and support.
Also, a heartfelt thank you to the staff of ProTem, 61 Gorge Road,
where Maurice called his home, for their love, care and compassion,
especially to Maridol, you will always be his
sunshine.
