Obituary of Matilda Minnie Glass
With great sadness, the family announces the passing of Matilda Minnie Glass (Nee Hubick) late of Extendicare Parkside, Regina, SK. Predeceased by her husband Karl (Charlie) Glass; parents George and Elsie Hubick; siblings George, Joyce, Gladys, Donald, and Doris. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Duane (Elaine), Dennis (Kathy), Rod (Linda), Steve (Jan) and Shirley-Ann (Dave); and brother-in-law Steve Komar; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mom was born in the Earl Grey District, married and raised family there. Mom and Dad owned and operated Corner Service in Earl Grey for over twenty years. Mom was a tireless volunteer for the United Church, community hall, 4-H and MIZPAH group. She taught Sunday school for many years and enjoyed Blue Jays baseball, curling, baking, crafts and crochet. She loved, and was loved by many. She had a beautiful soul and will be truly missed. A Graveside Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Earl Grey Cemetery. Please remain in your vehicles or as directed by attendants. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Earl Grey Community Hall in Matilda’s name.
