Obituary of Mary Moore
Moore Mary (Mae) Theresa (nee English) Passed peacefully away on Monday April 13, 2020 in the presence of her family at Chancellor Park residence at the grand age of 96 years. She is predeceased by husband, Howard (2011) and her parents Nicholas and Isabelle English (Power) of Branch, SMB, also her sisters Josephine, Alicia Stapleton (Frank), Irene Tobin (Martin) and brother Augustus. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life, daughters: Beverley Curran (Christopher) Roberta, Kingston Ontario and Sandra St. John’s. Also, grandchildren: Adrienne (Jonathan Hynes) Ottawa, Brendan, Topsail, Jennifer (Mike Johnston) La Salle and Anna (Alon Isocianu) Toronto. As well as her cherished great-grandchildren, Alistair and Isla. Also she leaves behind her Stapleton and Tobin nieces and nephews as well as her many friends of St. Thomas Of Villanova Parish, Long Pond.Mae worked for thirty-five years at the Hoyle’s Home caring for the elderly. She enjoyed her work passionately and in her latter years received the same loving attention and care from The Admiral’s Coast Retirement Centre and more recently Chancellor Park Continuing Care Facility.Mae will be remembered for her devotion to her family and love of gardening and her beautiful flowers. A Celebration of Mae’s life to follow at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice. A message of condolence may be sent to www.hickeysfuneralhome.com
