It is with sadness the family announces that Mary Mazurek of Saskatoon and formerly of Blaine Lake and their Krydor farm passed away at Porteous Villa on Friday, April 24, 2020 at the age of 91 years. Mary was predeceased by her husband Bronie in 1997, her parents Theodore (1999) and Anna (2003) Bawuliak. She is survived by two children, two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mary was born in Ukraine on May 31, 1928. She immigrated to Canada in 1948. On May 27, 1949 she married Bronie Mazurek. They owned and operated a small mixed farm southeast of Krydor. They had a son Walter in 1950 and a daughter Ann in 1955. In 1976 they retired to Blaine Lake. In 2006 Mary moved to Saskatoon where she easily made friends at Harry Landa Court. Mary was a wonderful cook and gardener. She loved to play Kaiser and visit with friends and family. A Funeral Service was Celebrated by Rev. Fr. Janko Kolosnjaji on April 28, 2020 with burial taking place beside her husband Bronie at the Blaine Lake Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
