Mary was predeceased by her parents, Ignace and Mary Doktycz of North Battleford and her brother, Frank, and his wife, Helen.
Mary was born in Skalat, Poland on February 25, 1925. She and her mother emigrated to Canada in December, 1928 to join her father, who had emigrated to Canada a year earlier and had settled in North Battleford.
Mary spent her early years in North Battleford where she attended Riverview School and N.B.C.I. After graduation, she started her administrative support and office management career in 1943, retiring in 1987 after 44 years with Touch Ross & Co. and predecessor firms.
Throughout her life Mary enjoyed swimming, fast ball, 5-pin bowling, ice skating, golfing and lawn bowling. In her retirement, she gave freely of her time as a “swimming buddy” in the YWCA swimming program. She was also a faithful volunteer with the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan.
Mary has left this world with no regrets. She always claimed that life had been very kind to her.
In lieu of flowers, those friends wishing to make memorial donations in memory of Mary may do so to her favorite charity, The Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
It was Mary’s wish that there be no funeral or memorial service. Mary will be interred in her mother’s plot in North Battleford at a later date.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Mary
