Maryann Hopper Monday December 21st 2020

Hopper, Maryann – With profound sadness the family announces the passing of Ms Maryann Hopper at the age of 62 years. Maryann passed away at the Temiskaming Hospital on Monday December 21, 2020 with her loving family by her side.
She was born in New Liskeard on November 29, 1958 to the late John Hopper and to Mrs Kathleen Hopper [nee Peebles]. Maryann is survived by her loving mother, her brother Lenoard and his wife Angela Hopper, her sister Lydia Hopper-Lyle and Steve Lyle, by her nephew Jonathan Hopper and by extended family members.
In keeping with Maryann’s wishes, cremation has taken place at Lakeview crematorium, Haileybury. Her ashes will be interred with her father in the Mount Pleasant cemetery in the spring of 2021. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in Maryann’s memory can be made to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada. Condolences and contributions may be left at www.buffamleveille.com.
God looked around his garden
And He found an empty place
And then He looked down upon the earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you,
And lifted you to rest,
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
He knew you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered “Peace be Thine.”
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn’t go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
