1939-2020
Mary Rosalie Burns, beloved wife of Henry (Henny) Burns, of
Oromocto passed away peacefully with her family by her side
on Monday evening, Dec 7, 2020 at the Oromocto Public
Hospital.
Born in New Waterford, Cape Breton on Nov 15, 1939 Mary was
the daughter of the late Dan and Josephine (Ranson) McPhee.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate
family.
Mary worked for many years in various positions at CFB
Gagetown. Many will remember Mary & Henny from their
days catering many events.
Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her
family and friends. Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her
husband Henry, daughter Gale as well as many sisters, brothers and
relatives too many to mention in Cape Breton.
Mary is survived by her children Michael (Donna) of Ottawa,
Wendy of Oromocto, Debbie (Steph) of Moncton and Cynthia (Paul) of
Kingsclear. She will be remembered by her son in law Wayne
Poirier
Mary also leaves her special furfriends Missy &
Sassy.
Also surviving are many, many grandchildren, great
grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the doctors nurses and staff
of the Oromocto Public Hospital for the wonderful care Mary received
as a patient there. For those who wish, donations may be made to a
charity of the donors choice.
