Mary Madeline Voisey 2020

Mary Madeline Voisey
April 10, 1941 – July 17, 2020

With deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Mary on July 17, 2020 after a brief illness, age 79 years. For those who knew Mary, she was the most pleasant soul ever.
Pre-deceased by husband Leo (1992); parents Michael and Mary Doran of Outer Cove and other family members.
Grieving the loss of their sister, Maggie Mendes (Joe); Anna O’Brien and Bernadette Rickards in British Columbia and Mercedes (Hazen), Gerard (Carol) and Joseph Doran in Newfoundland.
Also mourning this death, her nephews, nieces and many friends including those friendships forged while she resided at Alderwood Estates, Witless Bay. The family greatly appreciates the superb care by Alderwood where Mary spent many happy days with the residents of the retirement home who have gained notoriety for their active lifestyle and outings.
A very special recognition to her dear friend of twenty years Mary Wall, who befriended Mary while living in St. John’s. They were affectionately known in the community as “the two Mary’s”.
There will be no visitation. In accordance with public health measures and restrictions, a private Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Outer Cove with inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Mary Madeline Voisey 2020..
