She is predeceased by her husband Herbert, infant son, daughter Florence Day, sons-in-law Jack Spencer, Don Hollett and Calvin Day, parents Hannah and Philip Grandy, brothers Fred and Tom Grandy and sisters Florence Cluett, Winnifred Grandy, and Gertrude Collins.
Left with many lifetimes of wonderful memories are her daughters Jean Hollett and Gertie Spencer, sister Greta Hiscock, grandchildren Sandy Hollett (Brenda), Philip Hollett (Susan), Susan Hollett (Adrian Power), Robert Day (Joann), Scot Day (Caroline Kershaw), Colin Day, Dwayne Spencer, and Gus Spencer (Michelle), great-grandchildren Alex Tizzard (Steve), Megan and Katie Hollett (and their mother Heather), Matthew and Blake Power, Brandon Day, Gregory May (Ashley), Riley Spencer, Jack Spencer, great-great-grandchildren Max and Claire Tizzard, Landen and Parker May, and Remi Day, many special nieces and nephews and a large circle of family and friends.
Whether you knew her as Gammy, Nan, Aunt Lou, Mom, Louisa or Mrs. Cluett, she loved you all. She was devoted to her family and her church. She lived a full independent life and was heavily involved in Garnish life. She was a wonderful baker, knitter, crocheter, and berry picker who traveled widely and relished a good game of Scat and a hot cup of tea. Louisa was a member of the St. Giles ACW for over 50 years and won the Garnish Days Dory Race not too long ago.
