La célébration de
Mary Lou Brooks
29 octobre 1932 –
22 septembre 2020
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Mary Lou Brooks at home on September 22, 2020, at the age of 87 from heart failure.
Beloved wife of Charles Don of 64 years. Loving mother of Pamela (Nigel) Ellis and Tim (Shelley). Proud grandmother of Claire (Peter), Erin (Ryan), David, and great-grandmother of Elliott, Annabelle, and Elise. Survived by her sister Margaret Jean Weimer and her three sons.
She graduated from McGill’s Physical and Occupational Therapy program and ran the prenatal clinic at Queensway Hospital for many years. An avid pursuer of needlecrafts and gardening. Dedicated to her family and numerous friends who will dearly miss her.
We appreciate the help we received from the Salvation Army and the Red Cross during Hurricane Andrew. If desired, donations may be made in her memory to those two charities.

  2. Dear Don, Pam and Tim,
Heinz and I loved meeting with you and Mary Lou three years ago in Mississauga for lunch. Our families have been friends for many years as Mary Lou’s parents met my parents in Bermuda on my parents fifth year Wedding Anniversary. So many good memories. Our love to all of your family. Heinz and Susan Richter.
