In Loving Memory
Mary-Jean Duwyn of Delhi passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital , Simcoe on Sunday, July 19, 2020 in her 73rd year. Mary-Jean was born in Bruges , Belgium and came to Canada with her family at a young age. Predeceased by her loving parents, Henry (1993) and Irma (2008) Andries.
Mary-Jean will be lovingly and respectfully remembered by her family, friends, and neighbours for her kindness to everyone. A dedicated mother first and foremost, Mary-Jean treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She lived a full life as a wonderful mother, grandmother, homemaker, teacher, farmer, and antique shop owner. She loved music, the arts, and was an accomplished painter. Most of all she loved her family and instilled in her sons strong values that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Beloved partner and best friend of Andy Michiels. Loving mother of Daron (Stephanie), Kristian and Robert. Cherished grandmother of Mercedes, Courtney, and Matthew. Dearest sister of Will Andries (Molly). Fondly remembered by extended family in Canada and in Belgium .
In consideration of the continuing health and safety of our friends and family, a Private Family Funeral Service will take place with Inurnment in Delhi Cemetery . Mary-Jean loved to paint with her friends at the Delhi Friendship Centre therefore Memorial Donations to the Delhi Township Senior Citizens Club can be made through the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, DELHI (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care) and will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
