Southorn, Mary Jane (nee Quinn)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mary Jane at Hamilton General Hospital on Thursday, December 24, 2020. Mary Jane will be greatly missed by her best friend and husband of eighteen years, Gordon, and the two greatest joys of her life, her sons, Liam and Mitchell and of course her dog Lucy.
Cherished sister to her brothers Terry (Lynda) and Tim (Laurie) and sister in law to Jennifer (Jake). Predeceased by her loving parents, Ileene and William Quinn and her brother Bob.
Mary Jane had a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews- Andrea (Craig), Chris (Lisa), Carson (Nicole), Cassandra (Chris), Jared (Alana) and Tyler. She cherished all her family members in Nova Scotia, Oakville, and Belleville.
She will be greatly missed by her extended family and friends, Barbara & Colin, Susan & Phil, Deb & Al, Tammy & Mark, Maureen & William, Erin & Jason, Irene & Cam, Lisa & John, Stephanie, Holly, Barb G, Val, Michelle, Marg, Helga, and Jen B. and the Globe Girls.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a Celebration of Mary Jane’s life will be held at a later date.
Internment of cremated remains will be at St James Cemetery in Belleville.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Guelph General Hospital or to the Guelph Humane Society would be greatly appreciate by the family. Donation cards are available at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home (519-821-5077), or online at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com.
